1. How secure is my information?
Very secure as Intrepid Backup is hosted at a secure site with 24/7 security presence, extreme firewalls, internet security rules and access control units
2. How often are my files backed up?
Once your files have been uploaded through the Intrepid Backup application the backed up on a daily and monthly basis to SAN. You can be sure that your information is safe and secure as you will always have the latest information available.
3. Who can I share my files with?
Your files can be shared with anyone as long as you have an Enterprise Account. You can either share files to other members on Intrepid Backup Enterprise through adding them as a colleague or through emailing people your files to look at and they will receive a hyperlink to view your files.
4. Where can I access my backup files from?
Anywhere at anytime as long as you have access to the internet.
5. Can I access my files when I am offline?
No you are unable to access your information from offline as this is an online application and your information is safely stored in a server that needs to be accessed via the web.
6. How many files can I have?
You can have as many files as you want while it stays within the limits of your account which the status bar at the top of the screen highlights the amount of space being utilised.
7. I have used all of my space what do I do now?
Go to the registration page and signup for an extra 1GB for a year by selecting “Extra 1GB $99“ from dropdown list.
You will not be penalised for adding extra storage part way through the year. If you are part way through your Intrepid Backup paid year, the additional storage will be pro rated so your anniversary coincides with your Intrepid Backup renewal date.
For example, if you are 3.5 months into your Intrepid Backup year and you need an additional GB of storage, you will pay for only 9 months of storage (to the nearest full month) at $99 x 9/12 = $74.25 extra to add 1Gb of space.
8. Can I upgrade to another plan?
Yes go to the registration page and select a new plan from the list at the bottom.
You won't be penalised for changing plans part way through the year.
For example, if you are 3.5 months into a Backup500 plan and you elect to purchase a Backup1000 plan, you'll pay the price of Backup1000 at $149.95 minus 8 months out of 12 months of your Backup500 plan at $99, which would be $149.95 - ($99 x 8/12) = $83.32 extra to pay to upgrade plans |
